Michael Lee was born and raised in Germany, where he established his career as Software Developer. In 2005 he moved to the Big Island, exploring the island with no more than a small point-and-shoot camera. Inspired by what he saw, he discovered his true roots and a strong connection to the land and people of the Big Island.

He has been transformed, having found his home and, more importantly, making his passion his profession. People respect and appreciate his work by saying: “His photographs truly touch my heart”. In the body of his work, his perfectionism is reflected, his professionalism promises its quality.
