Jeera Rattanangkoon creates passionate dialogs working in a number of art disciplines, painting, printmaking, sculpture, wood, leather, and glass. Raised in Thailand, Jeera came to Hawai’i in the early ‘90’s to study printmaking under Hiroki Morinoue.

He has exhibited at the International Print Center in NYC, and in 1994 he received the State Foundation for Culture and Arts Acquisition Award. He received the Honolulu Printmakers Juried Exhibition Awards consecutively from 2001-2006. Under the auspices of the Laila Art Scholarship he furthered his studies in printmaking at Anderson Ranch in Colorado. He has taught at the Donkey Mill Art Center and the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
